This new world may explain why some leadership theories are no longer effective.

Yet many leaders continued to base their leadership behaviours on outdated models.

Because like everyone else, leaders probably do a fair amount of work on auto-pilot.

The latest thinking on effective leadership is that leaders needs self-awareness (a clear idea of what makes you tick, your strengths, weaknesses, beliefs and motivations) and must be well grounded and centred.   Mindfulness helps you to manage your mind by regulating and focusing your attention, making you aware of your thoughts and emotions.  Mindfulness is a state of being fully present, aware of oneself, and sensitive to one’s reactions to stressful situations.

Leaders who are mindful tend to be more effective in understanding and relating to others and motivating them toward shared goals.

About the Program

Mindful Leadership is a one day workshop, designed for leaders (entrepreneurs, business owners, directors, managers and supervisors) to lead the organization mindfully, help the organization flourish and develop a mindful organization. Participants will be able to benefit from high level leadership critical thinking and innovation, objectivity and perspective, greater empathy and the promotion of happier relationships and teams. Research shows that mindful leaders create mindful workplaces which are more productive, engaged - and profitable.

Just as physical training delivers quantifiable performance improvements, neuro-scientific research shows that mindful leadership training can deliver dramatically enhanced leadership capabilities.
